Gossip: Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are Hitched!

A source close to Nick Cannon has confirmed exclusively to Latina.com that Cannon and Mariah Carey are married! The couple wed yesterday, April 30, in a small ceremony on an island and it was "very implusive," according to our source. The wedding was attended by a few close friends of the couple, including Da Brat.

Additional sources close to Carey are now confirming that the couple married at a home the singer recently purchased in Eleuthera, The Bahamas. "They have been smitten with each other for days, weeks...and she's always had a crush on him," a friend tells the New York Post. "There was no pre-nup--there wasn't time," dishes another.

Carey, 38, and Cannon, 27, have been dating for just two months, and rumors began to swirl that the couple was engaged when the singer arrived to the April Tribeca Film Festival premiere of her new movie, Tennessee, wearing a huge ring on her left finger. Though speculation arose that the ring previously belonged to Cannon's former fianceé, model Selita Ebanks, People.com now reports that the rings are not the same.
